The Fairbanks Genealogical Society was established on May 9, 1973, to organize and support individuals in the Fairbanks area interested in genealogy research. It's mission is to provide assistance to others with ancestry in Alaska and to locate, preserve, and make genealogical and historical sources available for future generations. This web site has been established as part of that mission. In these pages, you'll find information about the society, its members, and links to online databases for finding the "Sourdough" in your lineage.

Effective 01/01/05 the FGS will perform research at a rate of $10.00 an hour. Copies will be an additional 25 cents a page.
