Returning students: Brief Registration forms will be
ready for you to complete. Parents just need to update any changes in contact information and select their child’s grade and
class time preference. New students: Parents will need to fill out complete
registration forms. All parents must
provide a copy of their
child’s baptismal certificate if their child is preparing for the Sacraments of
Confirmation or First Communion. Sacrament Preparation Requirements Baptism—children under five—parents must attend
Baptism classes offered through the main office (789-7307) Baptism—kindergarten through second grade—Parents
need to contact the RE Office about family Baptism retreats First Communion—Students must be currently enrolled in the
First Communion classes (2nd/3rd grade) offered Sunday and Monday. In addition, parents attend two meetings, and
families attend a First Communion family retreat and Setting the Table potluck. First Reconciliation—students must be the age of reason (age seven
and above) and currently enrolled in Religious Education classes. Parents must attend one meeting, and students and
parents attend a half day retreat, at which time the student will celebrate the Sacrament
of Penance with Father. Confirmation—Available to students enrolled in 6th—8th
Grade Religious Education classes. Students
will also attend Confirmation classes held twice each month from January—May and
attend a Confirmation retreat. Parents and
sponsors must attend one meeting each. Sacraments of Initiation—if your child is in grade 3-8 and preparing for
the sacrament of baptism and/or Eucharist, please contact Marilyn about the Rite of
Christian Initiation classes (RCIC) for children. Students
attend their grade level classes. They also
attend the Sunday 10:30 a.m. Mass and beginning in October are dismissed following the
homily for additional catechesis that will help prepare them for full membership in the
Catholic faith. Cost of enrollment—to offset the increasing costs of curriculum
and supplies we have had to increase our registration fees slightly. Registration Fees— Preschool 3 year olds – High School (Life Teen) Cost: 1 child $50 2 children $100 3 + children $150 Sacramental Preparation $35 per child (1st Communion, RCIA, Confirmation)
Sacramental preparation fee (for students preparing
for Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, Reconciliation) - additional $35.00 Families are welcome to pay in installments. Limited partial scholarships (on a sliding scale) are
available on approval by the DRE. If you have any questions about your child’s religious education please feel free to call Marilyn at 789-7303. Life Teen (High School) Confirmation - Students that were not confirmed in Middle School must be enrolled in the Life Teen Program and attend special Confirmation Classes held beginning in January. The cost for this is listed in the fees above. A copy of the students Baptismal certificate MUST be presented at registration. |
