At your State Fair the FARTHEST NORTH RODEO with two days of thrilling bronc and bull riding is sure to please. Cowboys from all over the U.S. , Alaska and Canada gather to test their courage and win the day.

Come one come all to non-stop excitement to Alaska's Tanana Valley State Fair! The grounds are always busy with about three hundred commercial, and non-profit, craft or food booths. Thirty-three competitive divisions where more than eighteen hundred people bring nine thousand exhibits for judging and display.
The fair reflects the life styles and interests of Alaska's second largest community. As interior Alaska's largest event, attendance in 1995 topped 132,000 from the 8 and one half days of the Fair. Started in 1924, the Tanana Valley State Fair is Alaska's oldest, held at the end of summer and celebrating harvest time in our community.
