Alaska Big Game Hunting

Alaska Peninsula Brown Bear Hunt
AT THE END OF THE ALASKA PENINSULA, between Cold Bay and False Pass, is my unique trophy brown bear camp, home to some of the worlds largest brown bear! The very comfortable base camp itself is situated on 3.5 acres of coastal property owned by my family and me on this remote bay, the farthest west bay on the Pacific Coast mainland of North America.

This region of the Alaska Peninsula consistently produces some of the largest, record-book brown bear in the world! You can expect to view between 20 and 40 bears during your hunt - my hunters have seen as many as half a dozen individual bears in one day - and you can expect to stalk 9' to 11' bears in this area. The largest bear I have guided a hunter to on the Alaska Peninsula was 10' 6" boar that qualified for the Boone & Crockett record book. This is a moderately physical hunt, and at times it requires walks of a few miles. It also requires patience, a resiliency to inclement weather and a great deal of time spent glassing.
