The ARRC's mission is to promote and enhance wildlife populations through education, research, and rehabilitation of injured wildlife.

Bird Training: Learn how to use positive reinforcement to train wild birds (bald eagles,hawks,falcons,owls,ravens and more. Become proficient in the health care and equipment maintenance needed for the upkeep of our resident birds..Develope public speaking skills and travel throughout the United States educating people about wild birds and how to preserve their future.
Education: Assist in developing curriculum for schools that we visit and for those interested in more raptor and natural science curriculum. Help with classroom programs teaching students about wild birds.
Train as a seasonal summer docent and help our summer visitors learn more about Alaska's wildlife.
Rehabilitation: Gain experience in handling wild birds for medical treatments. Apprentice as a technician and help with medical treatments on the injured birds. Help conduct physical therapy to help a disabled bird recover for release. Assist with research projects and gain skills in managing a clinic, perform a necropsy and get to know what birds look like on the inside.
