Nestled in the forest at the ocean's edge of Sitka Sound, this glass domed hexagon retreat will delight you with a breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean and picturesque Mt. Edgecumbe volcano. Wildlife such as eagles, ravens, sea birds, river otter, sea otter, seal, sea lions, mink, and whale are frequently observed from the 1,000 square foot deck surrounding the cottage. A barbecue grill is located on the deck. Captured rainwater is the main water source and we also provide a special supply of drinking water from Sitka's artesian well. Understandably, we are sensitive to the environment at Berry Island and wish to protect the resident wildlife and their surroundings. Because of this, we do not allow pets at Raven's Nest House. The cottage is not toddler safe.
