We maintain a good selection of AMHA and AMHR Miniature horses including stallions , mares and geldings. We have a number of yearlings, two year olds as well as more mature animals for show, performance or pleasure. We specialize in pintos and Silver Dapples, colors represented include sorrel, gray and black pintos, chestnuts and silver dapples.

Valdez y Basan was born just around the time of the Exxon Valdez oil spill. The port of Valdez was named in 1790 by Spanish explorer Don Salvador Fidalgo for the celebrated naval officer Antonio Valdez y Basan. A colt of great pride and poise, the name appeared a fitting one. Valdez proved to be a winner placing first under four judges his first time out. he finished his show career with an AMHA National Reserve Championship. Todau, Valdez is owned and loved by Circle J.Ranch, out of Calgary.
