Ken Wiley Joins KTKU-FM Staff as New Morning Host!


Ken Wiley, longtime fixture in Juneau's broadcast community has joined KTKU-FM "TAKU-105" as host of the station's morning program, and has been named the station's Program Director.

Wiley, who has spend over 30 years in Juneau Radio and Television, will now be heard every weekday morning from 5am until 9am on the "Big Country Ken Show" on TAKU-105, the Capital City's Hot Country Station.

The program will feature a unique mix of the latest in Country Music from the top artists on the charts today, as well as a selection of classic's from Nashville's Country Music past. Along with the music, Ken and TAKU-105 will bring listeners the latest news on the County stars, interviews, and a variety of other features.

To go along with the addition of Ken Wiley in the morning, TAKU-105 is now home to NBC Radio News on the hour, and an expanded version of "The Great Land Radio News" with Pete Carran, Juneau's top local newscast. Local newscasts are also featured throughout the afternoons with Carran and Matt Miller in the evenings.
