Loon Lake is presently being stocked by the Department of Alaska Fish and Game with Rainbow trout each spring.
Located on loon lake just 3 miles from Soldotna and 8 miles from the town of Kenai and a major airport. Loon Lake is just minutes from the famous Kenai River. We are located in the middle of the Kenai Peninsula for easy travel to Homer and Seward. The Kenai Peninsula provides spectacular scenery and a variety of activities including hunting, fishing, or just relaxing and enjoying the scenery and wildlife as well as winter sports.
