There is no truth in Murphy's Law. It was created by a Campbell to blame all their ills and mistakes on someone else. Poor Murphy was a keen worker who as luck would had it managed to get his crops to grow better than Campbell, had a faithful wife and three very happy and intelligent children. Campbell got mad and started gossip about Murphys spuds having too many "eyes" in them, that his wife was keen on the bakers son and his children cheated at school.
Poor Murphy didn't stand a chance! The rest of the community needed someone to blame for their problems too and as Murphy was already getting it they added all their woes to Campbells and dumped the whole lot on Murphy and all his ancestors.
An that is the REAL story of Murphy's Law.
In actual fact the Murphy way is a great way to live. I have had very few calamities since becoming a Murphy 10 years ago! I was a Farquhar and by comparison being a Murphy is a breeze!
