These photos were taken during our 9 day stay at Port Stanley. The war was still fresh in the minds of the locals. And with a large number of military personnel and imported construction workers present, a frontier atmosphere was evident. Access to Penguin rookery's was hampered by mine fields still not cleared since the war.
