We are so fortunate to live in such a prestine environment and share our special home to you. Your adventure begins in the Homer Harbor at 8:30am where the water-taxi meets you, Ramp 1 which is down from the lighthouse, Salty Dawg Saloon. Walk down Ramp 1 and the water-taxi captain will be looking for you too. It’s about a 30 minutes motor boat ride across Kachemak Bay to the Tutka Bay area. Have your cameras ready because often times you see baby otters nursing on their mommies tummy, school of porpoises maybe even whales. The water-taxi will meet up with the Harness family and the kayaking gear. This is where the true adventure begins.
