Compassionate Care at End-of-Life training is starting on March 8th. This training is desigend for those who are interested in learning skills that are helpful in assisting friends or family in providing care for someone with a disability, chronic illness or who is going through the sometimes lengthy process of dying. This training will not only prepare you to deal with these situations in your own life, but you will also be trained and ready to assist in our need to help community members who are sitting with loved ones who are ill or dying. Over 20 community professionals will share their expertise throughout this 6-week session with graduation certificates presented at the final lunch meeting on Saturday, April 10th. This training is open to everyone and is free of charge. Weekly meetings will be held on Monday evenings at 6:30 pm in the Pioneers' Home Manager's House.
