Captain Todd grew up in the Tlingit Village of Hoonah,
Alaska located 50 air miles West of Juneau. The crystal clear waters of Icy Straight was his backyard while growing up.
Todd became a commercial fisherman at the age 14 and knew that was the life for him! He has Purse Seined all over S.E. Alaska, Halibut and Black Cod Long Lined in the Gulf of Alaska, Crab Fished locally around Hoonah, and still owns his own Hand Troll Permit for commercial salmon fishing.
After a 4 year service in the Army, he went to the University of Alaska Juneau and earned a Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education and currently teachers 5th grade in Juneau.
He started out as a charter boat crew for his dad in 1990 and then bought a 22 ft. Seasport and started his own business. In 1995, he bought the 42 ft. Beartrack and began doing day trips out of Juneau and overnight charters to Icy Straight and Cross Sound.
Catching fish is his passion and he will take you to the hot
spots and catch you fish!
