Does sport-fishing in Alaska interest you? There is no
finer place to fish than Sitka, Alaska. The catch rates for salmon, halibut,
lingcod and various rock fish are among the best in the state. With all
these fish here in one place, you are looking at some truly great fishing.
Mix in remarkable scenery and the oldest history in Alaska, and you have
amazing Sitka!
We do get a little rain from time to time, but I personally
think it is well worth it. I have travelled and worked from Prudhoe Bay
to Ketchikan, and there's no place I would rather be than Sitka. I love
where I live and would like to share it with you.

When I started Small Fry Charters five years ago I
didn't think about the friendships that would develop. Today I can honestly
say that I have gained many friends. It has been a rewarding experience
to share in the excitement of clients catching their first salmon, or the
look in their eyes when a big halibut bends the fishing pole in half.
We specialize in the first-time and/or the young fisherman.
That's how we became Small Fry Charters.
I try to customize the trip to meet your needs. Small
Fry fishes a 24-foot fiberglass Bayliner that is safe, comfortable, and
fishes well. I was fourteen years old when I started operating boats, and
I currently hold a 50-ton Master's License issued by the U.S. Coast Guard.
I'm also certified in C.P.R. and first aid.
You will need to bring food, drink, warm clothing
and a camera. We will provide everything else to make yours a safe and
fun-filled fishing trip at a reasonable rate. Bring the kids!
If you think you might get excited fighting salmon
or hanging on for dear life with a halibut on the other end of the line,
call now to get started on your Alaska adventure. We would be more than
happy to help you find lodging or anything else you might need.
