This makes it easier to repack into the small holes of the Cub. If you go with an external frame pack you will need to protect it by placing it in the "body bag" and stuffing other small sacks around it. If you don't you will be trusting a frame that might withstand the abuse of several seasons of packing out moose to a baggage handler. Ouch! Please leave regular, suitcase style luggage at home.
