SALMON

Troll for the numerous, acrobatic Silver Salmon and pick up an occasional
powerful King that will surely test your tackle and angling ability.  We vary our fishing techniques to fit the conditions.  Sometimes the salmon will "school up tight" and mooching works best.  During the entire 2005 season and half of the 2006 season, SILVER LINING  limited out on inside bay limits (six fish limit).  During early August, 1999, we established a "boat record", in that we put 36 Silvers in the box in 52 minutes.  If you think you would like that type of action, come and join us on the SILVER LINING next summer.  Silvers arrive around the first week of July and the run last until early Sept.

LINGCOD

Tie into one of these voracious feeders and you'll swear you've hooked the bottom.  These toothy feeding machines will eat anything smaller than themselves, quite often a rockfish already on the line.  Lings occasionally reach sixty pounds with fifty-plus fish coming in every summer.  The beauty of lingcod fishing is that it can be done on the same trip as halibut using the same tackle and techniques.  Although "double ugly" the lingcod is fantastic table fare.  Lincod season opens July 1.
