Alaska

Yes folks, we did eventually make it. The last leg from Anchorage down here to Homer was a 5 hour long stretch of anticipation. Having been assured that we would have a 2 story house waiting for us, we told Zoe that we would be sleeping in our new home that night. We finally pulled up to the Homer overlook (background photo on Home Page) and saw what we came for. Dazzling mountains over the drizzle of rain. Beautiful. "Let's find our home." Jane whispered. Our excitment grows, we go down our dirt road, turn the corner, and there before us... our new home.

Here are a few miscellaneous photos

Checking out a dead sea lion. We made periodic forays to the beach to see the progress. The eagles are very good at their job of recycling.
