Home Sweet Home

The 3, high windows on the left are Zoe's "Northern Lights Windows." They live up to their name quite nicely.

Our friend Steve in California wanted to know if our cabin was behind the 2 story wooden hotel in the photo we sent him.

A view of our downstairs living area. The only sources of heat for the house (besides passive solar) come from the wood stove and the small white and black oil burner behind the lamp. We stay nice and toasty!

(The picnic table is to our left, the kitchen is behind us, the entrance/mud room is to the right -as is the bathroom, and the office is on the other side of the bookcase.)

Family table with a view.

Upstairs: Home of DeWaine's studio, the guest room, 2 walk-in closets, a half bath, and Zoe's and our master bedrooms, both of which walk out onto the balcony.

The view from one of our bedroom windows. You should see what the sunrises do to these mountains! Undescribably beautiful!

Every day, we are treated to watching the eagles soar along the bluff line, and serenaded by the waves of the sea crashing below...

Y'all come visit now. We'll leave the light on for you.
