The historic fishing and shipping port of Seldovia is located on the south side of Kachemak Bay, across from Homer and about 200 miles south of Anchorage. Today, Seldovia is a quiet village of 300, where the pace of life is slow, you can get nearly everyplace on foot, and there is time to breathe deeply of the fresh sea air and enjoy the scenery and wildlife that surround you.
