Here's Lookin' at you! Starting the Year with
Hale-Bopp watching
at Lake Mille Lacs. Comet viewing and cabin
were wonderful!

Jane travels to Homer on a exploratory mission where she captures the full moon over the mountains in this beautiful photo. While there she also checks on schools, work and availability of crickets for our livestock. One day there were 5 moose wandering on our lot.

Wonders and more! Jane becomes a Science Teacher! She finds a heretofore untapped talent for teaching. Kids at Frost Lake never knew what wonders of science were coming next. From dissecting cow eyeballs to exploring the wonders of electricity to cockroach races, Jane's kids always looked forward to science class.

Meanwhile, construction
begins on DeWaine's design for the Indianapolis Zoo project. The
object was to make a temple to the insects covered with carvings
designed to tell a story. To see before and after photos of some

Zoe Completes Kindergarten at Adams Spanish Immersion School! This is really a fabulous school. She loved it there. We went on to have a Great Summer!

Fall came and Zoe started first grade at Adams, Jane started her second year at Frost Lake and DeWaine continued on at our zoo and Indy Zoo project. More stuff happens including Treehouse bringing our bug show to the State Capital. (The first time in History giant cockroaches were invited to the capital). (Without an election anyway)...and Christmas closes us out of 1997:
