NEW 2005 Update!
DeWaine, no longer at B&G Club except as computer guy during the school year. Does whale watching during the summer, teaches oceanography and coastal ecology in Spring and Fall and pursues his other interests the rest of the time.
Jane, also no longer connected to the club, glories in her new school - Moose Point Learning Center - that she founded (yes, that is possible here in Alaska). She also directs the Summer on the Spit educational programs for the Center for Alaskan Coastal Studies.
Zoe is now officially a High School Coed! She excells in Volleyball, Basketball, Choir (she's going to Italy to sing!) and boys.
Really old stuff below...all no longer valid but of historical (and nostalgic) value to me. So there.
(Remember, this next part is OLD!)
OK well, this site is not really new, (Last updated in June of 2000) but since we are basically abandoning this site (a new improved site is in the works due by June 2010) we will leave it as is to decay into cyber neglect (where do those phosphors go anyway?).
Suffice it to say that we are healthy and happy in Homer. I am the Director of the Local Boys and Girls Club (www.positiveplaceforkids.com) and looking for new sea slugs in my spare time. Jane is teaching as well as acting as Assistant Director at Boys and Girls Club and Zoe is flourishing as a new Alaskan Debutante at age 10(!).
