The OILWIND hydraulic automatic jigging reel is similar in operation to the all electric automatic jigging reel above. This OILWIND jigger uses low pressure, low volume hydraulic oil to turn the reel (that's why they call them "oil wynd"). Powerful and fast, this reel uses 12 or 24 VDC to power its computer and is intended to fish automatically, jigging and hauling when designated weight of fish is hooked. This OILWIND reel is hydraulically powered like the 03-08, but is controlled by a hand valve. Sending the tackle down is a simple quarter turn of the valve. Once bottom is reached the sinker is raised, and the movement of the boat controls the jig. When fish are hooked, the valve is turned back to retrieve the fish to the boat. Can be used as an effective tuna reel and for other similar fishing too.
